My Favorite Assignment Self-analysis for Career Development

they are asked to analyze their skills, accomplishments, knowl-edge, and goals. Students usually say things like: &dquo;I don’t have any skills. I haven’t done anything worth mentioning.&dquo; The self-analysis is an assignment required in my Business Communication course, specifically in the job search process unit. This analysis is done before the students prepare their application letter and resume. The Self-analysis After explaining the importance of knowing themselves for choosing a job, a company, and a specific industry, I ask the stu-dents to write a self-analysis that answers two questions: 1. Who am I, that is, what are my personal traits
