II The present study aims to investigate perceptions and representations of the Turkish press towards the Rum Orthodox Patriarchate over the past six years, beginning in October 2005, when Turkey’s EU accession negotiations were officially started and ending in 2011, by making a synopsis of the news reports in specific cases.
