Two cases of histologically proven pulmonary fibrosis resulting from amiodarone therapy but responding to conicosteroids are reported. Amiodarone is a powerful antiarrhythmic agent which is widely used in the management of refrac-tory arrhythmias!'-3!. Its adverse effects such as corneal microdeposits, photosensitivity and alter-ation in thyroid and liver function are well docu-mented!2-4!. Neurological disorders including peri-pheral neuropathy have been reported as rare side effects!4-5!. We describe two patients who developed pulmonary fibrosis while being treated with amiodarone.
