This book considers the basic principles and suggested criteria for dealing with educational innovations. Points discussed are a) new forces in curriculum making; b) the impact of federal programs on the curriculum; c) decision making in relationship to grants and negotiations for curriculum change; d) the effect of media, militancy, and protest on curriculum; e) the changes in leadership and teaching roles; and f) the consequent responsibilities of those charged with curriculum improvement.
