Abstract. A topological index is a numerical descriptor of a molecule, based on a certain topological feature of the corresponding molecular graph. One of the most widely known topological descriptor is the Wiener index named after chemist Harold Wiener. In this paper, we propose a method for computing the Wiener index of the Cartesian product nm PP , nm CP , nm CC using MATLAB.
