Using a revised version of the Situation Attitude Scale (W. Sedlacek and G. Brooks, 1969), the attitudes of White student services practitioners toward Asian Americans were explored to determine if White student affairs practitioners at the University of Maryland differed in their attitudes in situations where a student's race was specified as Asian American and in situations in which race was not specified. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used to analyze the data, scale responses of 59 student affairs professionals.
