A method for estimating the particle size of synthetic latices from the ratio of turbi-dities measured at two distinct wavelengths was discussed. The particle sizes of various synthetic latices obtained by this method agreed with those obtained by using electron microscope. A method proposed by Heller et al. to estimate the particle size empirically from changes in absorption coefficient with wavelength was also discussed
