Interaction in distributed component based software-rchitectures can become a rather complex and error prone is-ue. As it is good practice to keep application concerns separated rom infrastructural ones, component based applications typi-ally rely on communication middleware to cope with matters f distribution and heterogeneity. Unfortunately, generic mid-leware tends to be monolithic, heavyweight software, which is nacceptable in resource constrained embedded systems.
