J N THE field of vitamin research it is doubt-ful if there lmas been more apparently contradictory I)ubhishled research than that concerning time roles of folic acid and vitamin B12 in metabolism. The reason for this state of affairs is not clear, unless it can be attributed to slight variations in experi-mental approach from one laboratory to an-other.
