Abstract- The educational technology landscape is changing with web-based tools emerging for collaborative learning. This paper describes a technology workshop session conducted for public school teachers. The session presented web 2.0 tools and focused on blogs to enhance classroom learning. The workshop was developed using a course blueprint and Bloom’s revised taxonomy to align content, instruction, and assessments by identifying desired cognitive processes and knowledge dimensions. The workshop demonstrated how to transfer in-class instruction into web 2.0 contexts for enhanced student engagement.
