Wounds of the hands and fingers are a com-mon challenge for most hand surgeons, and frequently, the wounds are complex and extensive. Larger soft-tissue defects of the fin-gers and hands are generally reconstructed by ped-icled or free flaps.1–3 Gao et al4 described a trilobar combined flap based on the circumflex scapular vessels to cover an extensive defect of the palm and volar aspect of the fingers.
