In the title compound, C16H16N2O5, the methoxy group is disordered with site occupancies of 0.20 (3) and 0.80 (3). The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 73.7 (2). The crystal structure is characterized by intermolecular N—H O, O—H O, C—H O and C—H hydrogen bonds.
