Objective The present study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of the Somnotouch-NIBP noninvasive continuous blood pressure monitor according to the European Society of Hypertension International Protocol revision 2010. Materials and methods Systolic and diastolic blood pressures were sequentially measured in 33 adults (11 women, mean age 63.5 ± 11.9 years) using a mercury sphygmomanometer (two observers) and the Somnotouch-NIBP device (one supervisor). A total of 99 pairs of comparisons were obtained from 33 participants for judgments in two parts with three grading phases. Results All the validation requirements were fulfilled.
