In this presentation, I will discuss the principles of biomedical and Islamic medical ethics and an interfaith perspective on end-of-life issues. I will also discuss three cases to exemplify some of the conflicts in ethical decision-making. Key words: Islamic medical ethics, end of life, inter-faith. The following is a discussion of the principles of biomedical and Islamic medical ethics, the position of the Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA) on end-of-life issues, and an interfaith per-spective on end-of-life issues.
