Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) is the most common primary brain tumor for which there is no curative therapeutic option [1]. First-line treatment of GBM con-sists of tumor resection, followed by fractionated focal irradiation (IR) in combination with concomitant and adjuvant administration of the alkylating agent temozo-lomide (TMZ). Despite recent advances in understanding the molecular biology of GBM, the clinical perspective for newly diagnosed patients remains poor.
