The diagnosis of dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is often challenging in elderly individuals because various symptoms of this condition overlap with other conditions that are common in this population, such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) [1] or Nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE). However, DLB also has a higher mortality and morbidity just as AD or CJD.
