Background: The Wnt/b-Catenin signaling pathway is central for liver functions and frequently deregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Analysis of the early phenotypes and molecular events following b-Catenin activation is therefore essential for better understanding HCC pathogenesis.
