Asymptotic symmetries of the five dimensional noncompact symmetric space SL(3,R)/SO(3,R) are found to form an infinite dimensional Lie algebra, analo-gously to the asymptotic symmetries of anti-de Sitter/hyperbolic spaces in two and three dimensions. Possible generalizations of the AdS/CFT correspondence and gauge/gravity dualities to such a space is discussed
