MEB reviews the criteria, testing procedures, and dynamic analyses employed to assure the structural and functional integrity of piping systems, mechanical equip-ment, reactor internals, and their supports under vibratory loadings, including those due to fluid flow and postulated seismic events to assure conformance with General Design Criteria 1, 2, 4, 14 and 15. The staff review covers the following specific areas: 1. Piping vibration, thermal expansion, and dynamic effect testing should be conducted during startup testing.
