ABSTRACT: This paper review the research results of shoreline fluctuation and investigate the current status of coastal erosion in the northern passage of Thuan An inlet, Thua Thien Hue province. Accordingly, based on the 30 field survey positions along the coast in in March 2015 has identified this passage has been seriously eroded, many passages have been eroded over 100m inland, extending over 2km.
