RESOURCE ADJUSTMENT OF MAIZE PRODUCTION IN CENTRAL

The study focused on persistent problems associated with maize production in Central India. The maize production level in the study area is compared with other maize growing state in India. The main purpose of the research work is to analyze best approaches that will support effective adjustment in resources with reduction in cost per unit inputs. The data were collected from different research stations focused on agricultural issues and way forwards in Central India. Past researchers suggested that Maize crops are more endurable and suitable for easy adjustment in the cropping pattern that enhanced increase in Maize production and allow adequate motivation of companies to invest in maize production in the study area. Effective, efficient and timely information on maize crops to the farmers will enhance desired results that allow profit maximization and cost minimization of scarce inputs
