Real-time signals have frequency content that can change over time or has anomalies and spikes. They can be intermittent, transient or noisy. Wavelets represent such type of signals better. Wavelets can help us to detect an object on the face of the planet, provide better resolution and smaller size in image processing, represent the variations in musical notes, detect patterns over a wide range, and most importantly, they can help us reconstruct the complete data from incomplete or broken signals. This paper discusses the advance of modulation into the realm of wavelets, thus providing a modulation technique that can be applied to multilevel inverters to study its effects on the inverter output
