The aim of this study was to determine patient's perception on satisfaction regarding cleanliness in a tertiary care hospital of Udupi district, Karnataka. A sample of 200 out patients and in patients was taken on random basis. The patient satisfaction on cleanliness was judged in terms of surroundings, wards, bathroom and staff, and was conducted by the researcher to analyze the efficiency of Hospital and Hospital Administration. It was observed that in patients as well as outpatients were not satisfied with most of domains of cleanliness. Most of them were not satisfied with the cleanliness of bathrooms and beds/cots and has given suggestions for improvement.
