This course views sapiential literature (Job, Proverbs, Sirach, Qohelet, Psalms and Song of Songs) as an expression of Israel's spirituality both at the time of its writing and today. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the distinctive and techniques of OT Wisdom and how the authors used these techniques to communicate meaning. 2.
