clinical scores for the differential diagnosis of cerebral ischemia and hemorrhage in acute stroke patients. Methods: 100 cases of acute stroke admitted in Government General Hospital, Kurnool were included in the study. All the patients were examined clinically and CT scan brain done and they were validated according to Siriraj and Allen’s clinical scores. Results: In this study group 69 were male patients and the rest were females. According to Siriraj score 51 patients were classified as having cerebral infarct and 23 patients as having hemorrhage and 26 patients as equivocal.
