In this paper, we used a FACTS controller i.e. which is shunt controller. The TCR and tuned passive filter form a shunt passive filter (SPF).The SPF is used to compensate reactive power. The small-rating active power filter is used to suppress resonance occurred between the line inductances and shunt passive filter and to improve the filtering characteristics of shunt passive filter.
