Abstract- Globally, more initiatives have been taken in order to strengthen national health systems. By coordinating actions across the six building blocks of the health systems, programmes to improve maternal health services can increase coverage and reduce barriers to the use of various initiatives. Service delivery building block is therefore very important in improving maternal mortality which remains an urgent problem to be addressed by Health Systems in developing countries around the world.
