Routing Issues in Wireless Sensor Networks are dealt with several factors like energy consumption, lifetime of network, energy efficiency functioning of sensor nodes. For these issues, several cluster routing protocols have already been proposed. These clustering techniques improve the above factors considerably compared to hop-by-hop or direct transmission methods. In this paper, a new clustering protocol called Energy Efficient Distributed Centralized Cluster Routing Algorithm (EEDCCRA) is developed and compared with the two other existing clustering algorithms, Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) and LEACH-C (Centralized). The simulation results shows proposed algorithm exhibits better cluster head selection, network lifetim...
