Abstract. Indonesia has a plurality of cultures and communities that have the potential to create a conflict, conflict both vertical and horizontal conflicts. Potential conflicts eventually became a field of interest by certain parties who have put aside personal interests and social interests. One attempt to resolve the conflict is to explore the conflict of data; data analysis conflicts find alternative conflict resolution priorities. This study aims to analyze the factors triggering of religious conflict and conflict vulnerable magnitude index in underdeveloped areas. The research methodology used is a quantitative method of descriptive statistical approaches and qualitative methods. The data used is the conflict in 2011 to 2013 of 8 (eight) districts. The results, based on the accumulation of eight districts showed that the biggest cause of conflict is in the brawl at 22.50, politics in 9.00, and the beatings of 3.75. For the lowest score indicated that the religious conflicts of 0.30, ethnic conflict of 0.60 and for conflict over natural resources of 0.90. Based on the conflict showed that Kupang District has the most conflict-prone index value, high at 0.49, followed by the Mimika district in 0.34 and Central Maluku regency in 0.14. Based on the development of the conflict from 2011 until 2013 in Kupang district showed a decrease in the intensity of the conflict, while for the other districts show an increase in the intensity of the conflict
