This paper focuses on the need for teachers to prepare for the teaching of climate change since there is a heightened clamour for its inclusion in the education curriculum. This advocacy emanates from the emotional feelings brought about by the devastating effects of climate change-floods, droughts, etc that leads to lost of lives and property. The monstrous posture of the climate change effect and the strength of the advocacy for its inclusion in the education curriculum remains a signal for teachers to commence preparation for the teaching of the subject.
