Homelessness affects all of us — not just those who are homeless — because when people have a home, they are healthier, more ready for employment, and better able to participate and contribute to their communities. When no one is left behind, we all benefit. That is why we are committed to ending homelessness. We established the Expert Advisory Panel on Homelessness because we know that homelessness is a complex issue and we wanted to get the best advice from leaders in the community. As co-chairs we were grateful for their time and the recommendations they developed for government consideration. Their recommendations will help inform the next phase of our action plan, and strengthen the partnerships that are needed to work toward solutions...
