Effective school counseling programs impact thousands of Kansas students each year. Such vital programs, an integral part of each school’s educational program, must be designed to address the individual needs of students in their pursuit of successful school experiences. Research has demonstrated that, in order to provide maximum program benefits that will positively affect all students, school counselors must implement comprehensive developmental guidance programs.
