The National Park Service is considering rehabilitating, restoring, resurfacing, and reconstructing approximately 5.1 miles of the Tour Road and associated parking areas in Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Big Horn County, Montana. The purpose of taking action is to improve poor pavement and shoulder conditions on 5.1 miles of the Tour Road; enhance resource protection; provide a uniform and greater width to 5.1 miles of the Tour Road; and improve traffic flow and capacity at the visitor center and Reno-Benteen parking areas.
