H. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course is a continuation of DHYG 151 Clinical dental Hygiene I with continued emphasis on the dental hygiene process of care. Students will not only provide continued care for patients treated in the second semester but will also assess, plan and implement care for patients with advanced periodontal disease. Students are also expected to demonstrate more efficient time management skills so they are prepared to enter the workforce. Students will attend twelve hours of clinic each week.
