In this study, a novel chaotic circuit is proposed. The circuit consists of a Colpitts oscillator, a resonator and a diode. By using a idealized diode model, exact solutions are derived. Chaotic attractors are shown in circuit experiments and com-puter calculations of exact solutions. 1
