In order to develop a good understanding of noise sources generated by a landing gear, Large Eddy Simulations without a sub-grid scale model or coarse Direct Numerical Simulations of a turbulent flow over two circular cylinders in tandem arrangements have been carried out using a high-order multidomain unstructured spectral difference method. Two distinct nondimensional separation distances; L/D=3.7 and 1.435; are used in the simulations. The Mach number and Reynolds number used are M=0.1 and Re=2.0x103 based on the free stream condition and cylinder diameter for both cases.
