Poster-making 101

This tutorial is part of the Technical Resources section of my website. This guide is designed to highlight common technical issues that arise while creating a poster in PowerPoint. If you wish to have access to the printers at Bates, you must follow the guidelines in the Essentials section. The Additional Tips section has suggestions for improving the look of your poster and for dealing with common technical issues. An important note about the poster printers at Bates Printers are available to students, faculty and staff for academic use. However, access is restricted by demand, staff availability, and other time constraints. Plan ahead.
