Benefits for students • This project will inform curriculum design within the psychology subject area, with respect to both the parapsychology module and other modules which focus on critical thinking. • The project will also inform the MSc Health Psychology curriculum in modules which cover alternative and complementary medicine, and beliefs about health, food and eating behaviour. Benefits for staff • The findings from this research will inform our understanding of how critical thinking can be fostered within an adult education environment and illuminate the relationships between reasoning and beliefs. • The findings can be fed back into the curriculum
