Abstract-There exists a certain level of correlation between wind speed and load. This paper uses clustering algorithms to consider these two correlated variables. Eight different approaches are presented, applied to a wind farm, and finally, compared using reliability analysis. As a system simulation methodology, Monte Carlo is used for reliability analysis and estimation. This paper suggests using the efficient clustering approach in a wind farm to compute a reliability index. Index Terms-clustering algorithms, Monte Carlo, system reliability, wake effect models
