Abstract—The adaptation of the Spanish University to the European Higher Education Area has driven a change in the teaching methodology. This paper analyses this change from the perspective of the Technical Engineering degrees. Then, a particular hands-on experience of active learning is described. The feedback from this experience has been used to design the learning methodology of two courses for new Technical Engineering degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area, in this paper these two courses are also presented.
