A Factor Graph is a probabilistic graphical model quite popular in the signal processing community, which recently gained favour as an alternative for modelling dynamic control systems. Such a Factor Graph can be interpreted as a model of brain-style information processing by emulating the behaviour of cognitive systems. In this project, the student shall implement such a factor graph in a SpiNNaker computing system. The spiNNaker is a massively parallel multi-core chip which consists of 18 ARM968 processor cores with integrated 128 MByte SDRAM per chip.
