ABSTRACTS OF DOCTORAL DISSERTATIONS

Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed in the time period December 2009 to December 2010. The goal of this volume is to demonstrate the breadth and quality of the original research performed by our Ph.D. students and to facilitate the dissemination of their research results. We are glad to present the sixth collection of this kind and expect this initiative to continue in the years to come. The submission of an extended abstract in English is required by all our graduating Ph.D. students. We would like to thank the students who contributed to this volume and hope that this has also been a positive experience for them. Finally, we woul
