Abstract. We prove existence of finitely many ergodic equili-brium states associated to local homeomorphisms and hyperbolic potentials. In addition, if the dynamics is transitive we obtain the uniqueness of equilibrium state. Under the assumptions of uniform contraction on the fiber and non-uniformly expansion on some region of the base we also prove existence of equilibrium states for partially hyperbolic skew-products. 1
