The problem of localization and reconstruction of unknown targets from measurements of the scattered field is important for designing mm-wave imaging systems. One of the limita-tions preventing realization of high quality images is a low spatial resolution. This paper discusses the experimental stud-ies concerning a nature of in-door spatial resolution limits. A critical point here is a determination of optimal distance be-tween targets and receiver in terms of near-far fields conditions and polarization impacts.
