Triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) was formulated with 1.0 wt % (±)-camphorquinone (CQ) as a visible light active photoinitiator, 0.5 wt % ethyl 4-(dimethylamino)benzoate (EDAB) as coinitiator and 3.0 wt % tetraethylthiuram disulfide (TED) as a near UV active photoinhibitor. Visible light was provided by a light-emitting diode (LED)-based dental lamp (GC America) with a narrow emittance curve centered at 469 nm while UV light was provided by a high pressure mercury vapor lamp (EXFO) equipped with a filter to isolate the 365 nm spectral line.
