Abstract: LSP requests may be bundled to improve the network optimization process at the expense of an increased connection setup delay. A detailed study is conducted to evaluate the pros and cons of the bundling approach. © 2008 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (060.0060) Fiber optics and optical communications; (060.4250) Network
