Naturally, the considerable market share of the Android OS and the diversity of app distribution channels besides the official Google Play Store has attracted the attention of malware authors. To deal with the increasing numbers of malicious Android apps in the wild, malware analysts typically rely on analysis tools to extract characteristic information about an app in an automated fashion.
