Kinetics of the overall reaction CH3 + OH (1) were studied close to the high-pressure limit using the laser flash photolysis/transient UV absorption method (LFP/TAS) and in the fall-off regime with discharge flow/far infrared laser magnetic resonance (DF/LMR) at 298 K and 473 K, respectively.
