Abstract – The present work evaluates the application of a meshless-based method to a set of integral equations arising in electromagnetic field scattering problems. These integral equations are discretized via the Moving Least Squares (MLS) approximation. The problem concerning the scattering of a TM plane wave by an infinite conductor cylinder is solved. Results show that the obtained meshless method presents very good precision and fast convergence to the solution
