This paper describes a system that uses multiple particle filters to track an unknown number of targets from range data. The tracked targets do not move with constant velocity or acceleration, which fits the requirements of a system that tracks the movement ofpeople. Results from simulations involving tracking of 10 manoeuvring targets in clutter are presented. 1
